TRAGIC STORIES AS 'THE SOLUMN BROTHERS' AND 'THE NILAND BROTHERS', WHO WHERE THE INSPIRATION OF THE HOLLYWOOD MOVIE SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, HAS KEPT AN EMOTIONAL IMPRESSION TO MANY PEOPLE. EVEN THE BIXBY LETTER, WHO WAS WRITTEN BY PRESIDENT ABRAHAM LINCOLN TO MISS BIXBY IN BOSTON, HAS AN INTERNATIONAL FAME.

 

THIS EMOTIONAL BAND IS ALSO REFLECTED WELL IN THE MEDAL GROUPS WE COLLECT. BRITISH MEDAL GROUPS OF BROTHERS, AND ESPACIALLY BROTHERS WHO WHERE K.I.A OR D.O.W ARE MORE SOUGHT AFTER AND MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ANY OTHER WWI CAMPAIGN MEDAL GROUP.
